Bo Qiao started his legal experience from 1998 and has worked in several leading Chinese firms as partner. Bo is specialized in cross-border projects and international dispute resolution.
Bo is sophisticated in dispute resolution. Not only representing clients in many Chinese court proceedings, Bo also handled a large number of international arbitration cases at, or applying rules of, London Maritime Arbitrators Association, Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission. The disputes that he worked on involve sales contracts, shipbuilding, EPC project, import and export, finance, investment, joint venture, shareholder disputes and so on.
Bo was also appointed as arbitrator for many cases filed with China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission (“CIETAC”) covering the areas of private equity investment, real estate, construction, trading, etc..He is among the earliest Mainland China members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of UK.
Bo’s experience also covers cross-border M&A, FDI, investment fund, finance, tax and general commercial matters. He provides legal services to leading Chinese companies and MNCs of various industries.
